The Collage Companies

The COLLAGE Companies provided Design Build and Construction Management services for the Miami Norland Senior High School. The project included the addition of a state-of-the-art 24,700 sq. ft. gymnasium facility with seating capacity for 2,700 persons as well as the remodeling and renovations of the existing school gymnasium. Due to the complexity of the project and the fact that the school had to remain open during construction, the project was divided into phases, ensuring safety and security through the construction process. The facility contains a lobby area and a 2,306 sq. ft. gymnasium floor, P.E. storage, ticket booth, concession area, restrooms, and mechanical/electrical support areas. In addition, site improvements to the school’s outdoor areas included a landscaped plaza with outdoor furniture located in front of the building. A new concrete covered walkway connecting the new gymnasium building with the existing covered walkway system was provided as well.
