Harvest Time International Unveils New Hope Center: A One-Stop Haven for Families in Need
In a significant stride towards offering centralized support for families, Harvest Time International celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Harvest Time Hope Center on August 24th. This initiative, in collaboration with long-time construction partner The Collage Companies, along with its non-profit partners, aims to consolidate essential services under one roof, understanding the myriad challenges families face today. Positioned strategically across from HTI’s main 100,000 sq. ft. facility in Sanford, FL, the center is primed to become a cornerstone of community support and empowerment.
Phase 1 officially began on August 24, 2023, 8:00am at the groundbreaking ceremony. The new facility will be 30,092sf and will be located across from HTI’s main facility and easily accessible for clients visiting other non-profit partners. Since 1999 this program provides assistance with food and basic need items to hundreds of central Florida children and families daily. Additionally, partners including True Health and DCF provide Medical, Dental as well as government services addressing the needs of low income and financially distressed families. Phase 2, the repurpose of the old space, will make room for current partners to expand and more strategic and established nonprofit partners to join and create the Assistance Mall located in Harvest Time International’s facility in Sanford Florida.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Brian Walsh (Collage Founder, Chairman, CEO) welcomed guests and presented Pastor John Murphy with a framed bible, open to the passage Psalm 127 “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” This bible will be placed in the foundation of the building symbolizing the intention and spirit of this space.

High gas prices, unreliable old vehicles, having to take time off work as well as mental health make it impossible to go to several locations to receive support.” The Assistance Mall will be the solution. It will remove obstacles and make it easier for the families to receive the support and help they need. Harvest Time International invites the community, churches, clubs, organizations, and corporations to come together in support. Every donation is appreciated, big or small and will currently be matched 100% up to 1 million dollars, by an anonymous donor.
