Groundbreaking for The New City of Bunnell Administration and Police Department

The City of Bunnell, in collaboration with The Collage Companies and community leaders, celebrated a significant milestone yesterday with the groundbreaking ceremony for the new City of Bunnell Administration and Police Department facility. This venture is a key component of the city’s broader growth and development plan, aiming to meet the evolving needs of the community.

In 2021, building issues with the former City Hall caused the City to consider alternatives for City Offices.  The Mayor, Vice Mayor and City Commissioners did not make any of the decisions leading up to the groundbreaking lightly but recognized for the City to be able to meet the needs of its citizens, businesses, visitors and the growth anticipated, that a new facility was critical.  In July 2022, the City purchased the land located at 2400 Commerce Parkway, Bunnell, FL 32110 and began the process of designing the complex being built at this location. Once completed, the 19,000 square foot facility will serve multiple functions, housing the police department headquarters, city administration offices, and a versatile multi-use assembly hall. This development not only signifies Bunnell’s commitment to enhancing municipal services and public safety but also underscores its dedication to fostering a thriving, well-connected community. Through this strategic expansion, the city endeavors to accommodate its growing population, streamline its services, and provide a central hub for community engagement and activities.
