The highest accolade among the EIC family of awards is the prestigious EAGLE award, celebrating the remarkable contributions of chapter members in the construction industry and recognizing their unwavering commitment to achieving excellence. This fall, at the ABC CF 50th Anniversary Event, Collage was presented with three EAGLE awards, a testament to their exceptional achievements in construction.

The awarded projects, including Luminary Green Park at Creative Village, St. Johns River Water Management District Apopka Service Center, and Climate First Bank – Winter Park, exemplify Collage’s dedication to quality, innovation, and customer experience. About the Projects

Luminary Green Park, a unique community space at Creative Village, Orlando’s digital media, and education center of the future.  Surrounded by apartments, UCF and Valencia College’s downtown campus, and Electronic Arts’ studio, the park offers a large open lawn space and meandering illuminated concrete paths. The park boasts iconic elements that capture the essence of the city. Among these are the striking pre-cast concrete “ORLANDO” letters and the impressive massive white aluminum trellis. These elements lend a distinct character to the park, making it a popular destination for visitors and locals alike. The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Apopka Service Center is a testament to Collage’s expertise in design and construction. The project attained the esteemed Florida Green Building Gold Level status, a recognition that underscores Collage’s commitment to quality and innovation. The Apopka Service Center stands as a remarkable example of precision and functionality, featuring energy-efficient elements and carefully chosen materials. Climate First Bank’s new Winter Park branch stands out for its environmentally forward elements, notably featuring a massive and semi-translucent vertical solar facade system on the south side, one of the largest implementations of its kind in the state. The partnership between Collage Companies and Climate First Bank remains strong, as Collage is currently working on the construction of the bank’s next branch in St. Petersburg, Florida. Additionally, the project received recognition from USGBC Florida, winning the Sustainable Initiative of the Year award at the 2022 Central Florida Leadership Awards, further highlighting its commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly design and construction practices in the region. About the Award

Each year, Associated Builders and Contractors – Central Florida Chapter (ABC CF) recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by chapter members. The awards competition serves to raise the level of construction standards throughout the industry by recognizing the workmanship of those who contribute and by showcasing the results of their commitment.

Each project entry is evaluated by selected judges represented by a cross-section of the industry, including local design professionals who either visit and tour each project or determine the score based on a presentation and awards entry book. The project entries are judged on execution of design, quality of craftsmanship, attention to detail, proper installation, outstanding planning and coordination efforts, challenges successfully overcome, project complexity, custom materials, safety program, and owner satisfaction.
