City of Orlando – Creative Village Park

The Collage Companies has begun construction of a new park for the City of Orlando, the Creative Village Park.  The $5.3 million project is the recreational portion of the City’s Creative Village. Collage is the construction manager for the park, which will be a 2.3-acre green space in downtown Orlando planned as the iconic “central park” for the community.  The park will provide opportunities for students, residents, and visitors of Creative Village to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors. The park will include a 1-acre “great lawn” for events and recreation, a tree-lined promenade, various types of seating, functional and decorative lighting, and hardscaped areas for performance and/or future art installations. The park will also include a large artistic circular trellis that will serve as the aesthetic cornerstone of the park and provide additional shaded area.

Collage enjoys a longstanding relationship working with the City of Orlando including working on the Camping World Stadium Improvement project and Lake Lorna Doone.  Creative Village is a public/private partnership between the City of Orlando and the Master Developer, Creative Village Development, LLC (CVD). The CVD entity is a joint venture between Creative Village Orlando, LLC, which is led by Craig Ustler with development partners Tim Baker and Brooke Myers, and Banc of America Community Development Corporation (BACDC).
