New building helps international missions organization grow

The Collage Companies is constructing an $8 million project for Pioneers International, as the growing Lake Nona based missions agency reaches its facility limits. The new 50,000 SF building, named the Fletcher Center after Pioneers Founders Ted and Peggy Fletcher, consists of a large interactive and educational lobby entrance, flanked by office and conference center wings. The two-story office wing features a large glass staircase leading to an open office configuration with traditional office spaces along the perimeter. This is the international headquarters that supports Pioneers missionaries worldwide.

The conference center wing is the hub of both short and long-term training for missionaries being sent and received from around the world. The space is large enough to house a conference for entire staff, as well as to conduct teaching and training throughout the year. The conference center includes a full size kitchen, as well as dining and meeting space.

With the increase capacity that the Fletcher Center will provide, Pioneers will be able to serve 2,600 more missionary candidates during the next decade.
